The Little Rabbit
By Abigail Stout
Once there was a little rabbit named Lilly. When Lilly was born her mother had to go. So Lilly had to everything for herself. Once Lilly was learning to do many things, like to gather food, wash herself, and many other things. But one day Lilly was gathering food outside. There was a little rabbit. Lilly went up to that rabbit. That rabbit was scared of Lilly, but Lilly took him home. The little rabbit was a grown up to. The little rabbit said ”How are you” but Lilly said “I’m a rabbit too. Are you lonely?” The little rabbit said “Yes my mom and dad left me too” Days gone by. Lilly started to like the little rabbit named Fred. Fred liked Lilly too. So they told the church. So once they got married. Two months gone by. They wanted kids. So they did. They had two kids named John and Angela. John and Angela always played with chuder(I have no clue what that word is suppose to be) but one rainy day Angela was outside and started to cough a lot. Lilly heard. She yelled to Angela and said ”Come in you’ll get sick” But when Angela got inside Lilly checked Angela’s temperature, it was 70 degrees. So Lilly called Fred and Fred saw. He raced Angela in a biagit. (I have no clue what that word is suppose to be) A few weeks gone by and Angela got better, but John got it. His temperature was worse. It was 60 degrees. So then Lilly rushed John to the hospital. The doctor said “That was bad John had medicine, but that didn’t help.”
So one day something terrible happened. John died. Everyone in John’s family was crying . Specially Angela, because John was the only person to play with. So at his funeral everyone brought flowers, but when John died at 2 years old. A lot of days gone by. Lilly walked outside and was still thinking about John. She looked up in the sky. She saw John. He came down and said “You will always be in my heart always” Lilly cried while John was going back in the sky. Lilly ran back inside as fast as she can and told Fred, but Fred didn’t believe her. So he went out and saw John going down and said the same thing. So then he ran back and told Lilly “I believe I believe” What happened has never been forgotten.
The end
